Watch S 300 missile systems fired up during Astrakhan drills in Russia

Units from Central Military District tested the S 300 ‘Favorit’ surface-to-air missile system in combat drills at the Ashuluk testing range, Astrakhan Region, as shown in footage released by the Russian Defence Ministry on Sunday.
During the exercises, the S 300 launched a number of missiles which destroyed a total of 20 aerial targets, the Russian Defence ministry reported. The ‘Armavir’, ‘Bekas’, ‘Favorit’ and ‘Pischal’ supersonic missiles were all employed.
According to the report, the the surface-to-air missile regiment traveled from the Sverdlovsk Region for the drills which end this month.
