ISIS would invaded Europe if it were not for Iran's Revolutionary Guard — Official

“ISIS would have invaded Europe if it had not been for Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps fight against the terror group alongside Syrian and Iraqi forces.” Iran’s Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif said.
“When @realdonaldtrump insisted that ‘Iran is killing ISIS’, exactly who did he think was doing the fighting & making the sacrifice? ISIS would’ve held two Arab capitals & fielded a Terrorist Army on Europe’s doorstep had #IRGC not fought alongside brave peoples of Iraq & Syria,” Zarif tweeted on Wednesday.

The tweet came after the Trump administration on Monday designated IRGC as a “terrorist” group. Later, Iran’s Supreme National Security Council in turn designated US forces in West Asia, known as the United States Central Command (CENTCOM), as a terrorist organization.
On Tuesday, the IRGC’s chief commander Mohammad Ali Jafari said the Corps will grow stronger now that the US has taken such a move.
“We announce decisively that the Corps will, by God’s grace, grow stronger in its defensive and offensive system over the next year,” he stressed.
He also called the designation “very ridiculous because the IRGC has a place in the hearts of the (Iranian) people.”
