Afrin Liberation Forces carry out a new attack against Turkish backed rebels in Afrin

The Afrin Liberation Forces (HRE) operations room has carried out a new attack targeting the Turkish backed Syrian rebels in Shirawa district of Afrin region in northern Aleppo countryside.
The attack targeted militants belong to the Turkish backed al-Hamza division in the district of Shirawa where at least 1 rebel was killed and couple others wounded.
The Kurdish forces HRE group issued a statement detailing the attack and it reads as follow:
“Our forces continue to carry out military operations against the Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries in Afrin and its environs. In this context, on 15 April, our forces carried out an operation against a military vehicle belonging to al-Hamza division mercenaries in the village of Kimara in the district of Shirawa where 1mercenary was wounded and 1 was killed.”
The Afrin Liberation Forces (HRE) operations room is an insurgent group that is active in Turkish-controlled areas of northern Syria.
The group claims to have been founded following the Turkish invasion of Afrin in 2018, backed by an assortment of rebel groups. The group has been active since mid summer, 2018, and has carried out dozens of assassinations and bombings against Turkish-backed rebel forces
