WATCH how MLRS vehicles are transported in Syria

The Uragan multiple rocket launcher systems are among the most powerful weapons of the Syrian Arab Army.

The Uragan launcher was manufactured in Russia. It has been battle proven and is in service with the Russian Army and is also exported worldwide including Syria.

The system has a reputation for high reliability, simplicity and speed of operation and maintenance. The Syrian army has also Syrian-made ‘Golan’ MLRS, which are among the most powerful rocket launchers in the world.

The Syrian Army has lost only one Uragan vehicle since the start of the Syrian war, and it was not lost during battles with the terrorists, but was targeted by Israel.
