Syrian opposition activists reported a video-clip showing a Turkish-backed fighter shooting dead a Kurdish woman in the middle of the day at a public garden in Afrin city in northern Syria.
Local sources in rural Aleppo revealed to Muraselon that the murderer is a Syrian gunman named Abdul Rahman al-Hafian, a member of the Turkish-backed Sultan Shah Brigade.
The UK-Based Syrian Observatory of Human Rights (SOHR) reported that the gunman deliberately killed the woman after harassing her.
Opposition sources said that the murdered woman is Al-Hufian’s newly divorced, and was killed for refusing to return home with him.
Afrin and all the territories in northern Syria – which is under Turkish-backed fighters’ control -, witness security chaos, deterioration, rape and theft, the last of which a militant in Jarabulus killed his sister after capturing her with a Turkish officer having sex.
