Israel used F-35 stealth fighters in Recent Attack On Aleppo (photos)

A photo posted online by pro-government activists reveals the use of US-made GBU-39 Small Diameter Bombs (SDBs) carried by Israeli F-35 stealth fighters in its recent attack on the Syrian city of Aleppo.
The photo shows the remains of one of the munitions which were used in the attack, that occurred in the late hours of March 27. The remains appear to be identical to the wings of the GBU-39 bomb.

The GBU-39 SBD’s max operational range is 110 km and even a bit more. This can be done by an aircraft flying on a high speed and altitude.
Sources indicated that Israel has used their most modern fighters in the attack, the F-35 Stealth Fighters flying over the Iraqi territories undetected before launching the bombs from near the border with Syria.
In April of last year, the IAF used the GBU-39 SDB to strike targets in the outskirt of the city of Aleppo in same method of the recent attack.

Despite its small diameter and long range, several SDB bombs were successfully intercepted by the Syrian Air Defense systems, according to pro-government sources.
