Syrian forces discover mass grave, shell manufacturing workshop and tunnel network in al-Mayadeen (VIDEO)

Syrian Internal Security Forces on Friday found a former site of ISIS terrorists in al-Mayadeen city east of Deir Ezzor province.

SANA agency said on Friday that the Internal Security Forces, while combing the vicinity of al-Mayadeen, found a former site used by ISIS to carry out terrorist operations, including mass graves, tunnel network and a shell manufacturing workshop.

The police chief of Deir Ezzor, Brigadier Nizar Hassan, told SANA that “the site is located near al-Rahba Castle, about 2 kilometers from al-Mayadeen city, and that the mass grave contains corpses of citizens who were killed by ISIS terrorists before being defeated by the Syrian Arab Army”.

Hassan also said that a training camp for ISIS terrorists was also found in the area, a tunnel network connecting the mountains surrounding al-Mayadeen city, as well as a workshop for manufacturing explosives and shells.
