Four soldiers killed in Istanbul helicopter crash

Four soldiers were killed when a military helicopter crashed in a residential neighbourhood during emergency landing in Istanbul’s Cekmekoy district on Monday.

According to the Anadolu Agency, Istanbul governor, Ali Yerlikaya, said that the helicopter went down in an area of apartment buildings. Television footage showed smoke coming out of the area.

The cause of the crash remains unknown.
