In Video : Syrian forces use new generation air defense system to repel Israeli attack

Military sources have revealed to Muraselon News that a new generation of Syrian air defense weapons were used during Israel’s daylight attack on Syria today.
According to the sources, the Syrian Air Defense Force (SyAD) employed its Buk-M2 system to intercept the Israeli missile attack.
The source stated that at Buk-M2 systems fired two missiles during the Israeli attack; other systems were used to defeat the remaining Israeli missiles.
The Buk-M2 is a significant upgrade over the more numerous yet older standard Buk-M systems in the SyAD arsenal.
The Buk-M2 offers greater range, improved accuracy and more resistance to enemy counter-measures than previous versions of the Buk medium-range air defenses
