Russia ready to help eliminate 15,000 militants in Idlib

Russian President’s Special Envoy to Syria Alexander Lavrentev announced in a press conference  that There are 15,000 militants in Idlib and Russia ready to help eliminate them.

“If there is a need, of course, we are ready to provide all possible assistance, including the participation of Syrian Army units,” the official said.

On the exchange of abductees, the envoy of the Russian president said that the exchange of detainees in Syria may take place in 2019 and the number will exceed 50 people.

Also, Alexander Lavrentev, told reporters that the 11th round of the Astana conference on Syria will focus on three main themes.

“The participants will discuss three main issues is the formation of the Constitutional Commission, the situation of refugees, Idleb.” Lavrentev said.
