VIDEO: Syrian troops shoot down armed drone in northern Lattakia
The Syrian Arab Army troops stationed in the northern countryside of Lattakia province, were capable to shoot down a hostile drone armed with multiple bombs.
Military source said that the home-made drone was shot down by an automatic Kalashnikov rifle, while roaming over Kabbani area near boundaries with Jisr Al-Shoughor region in southern Idlib.
Video published after capturing it by ground units, as its engine seems to be in a good condition.
Warning sentence had been written on the rear wing saying: “If you received our message, then what coming is greater and tougher .”
In September 15th, the Syrian air-defense artillery succeeded in downing several spy UAVs, which are said to have been launched by Nusra terrorists, east of the city of Latakia.
