Syrian government forces continue their advance against Daesh militants in the vicinity of Tulul al-Safa in the Suweida desert, a Sputnik correspondent has reported.

The Syrian army has surrounded the last Daesh militant stronghold near the area of Tulul al-Safa, the Sputnik correspondent reported. The government’s forces continue to launch rocket and artillery fire against the terrorists. According to the correspondent, the shelling has killed dozens of militants and led to the destruction of a truck loaded with ammunition.
