The Syrian military keeps tightening the noose around ISIS jihadists in the southern neighborhoods of the capital Damascus
During the past few days, the government forces managed to break through ISIS defensive lines in northern and western Al-Hajar Al-Aswad district, liberating Al-Zain neighborhood following heavy clashes.
They were also capable to capture Al-A’alaf area which located to the west of Al-Hajar Al-Aswad neighborhood, that made the combat troops adjacent with Al-Sharakis area.
At the meantime, the storming troops are advancing steadily to encircle the last ISIS stronghold of Al-Hajar Al-Aswad from all axes, bombing their vital locations inside it.
Recently, an agreement was concluded between the government and the Hayyat Tahrir Al-Sham group (HTS) states to evacuate their militants from Al-Yarmouk camp towards Idlib province, in exchange, the evacuation of Fua’a and Kufrayya civilians into the government-held areas in Aleppo.
