Israeli military release footage of airstrike on Syrian anti-aircraft battery

The Israeli military released footage on Thursday, allegedly showing a Syrian SA22 anti-aircraft artillery battery being struck by an Israeli airstrike at an undisclosed location inside Syria.
Earlier in the day, the Israel military carried out strikes against multiple sites inside Syria. The Syrian military said that ‘dozens of missiles’ were launched by Israel early Thursday.
The reported target was the City of Baath in the Quneitra Governorate, close to the ceasefire lines with Israel.
Israel’s military said it was responding to rockets fired at its positions in the Israeli-occupied Golan Heights, including one border post, by Iranian forces inside Syria.

An Israel Defence Forces (IDF) statement stated a total of 20 rockets had been fired, some of which were intercepted by the Iron Dome missile defence system, causing no casualties.
