WATCH : US Army establishes new base in northern Syria (Video)

The US-led coalition ( US Army ) has set up a new military base in northern Syria to defend the Kurdish-controlled city against a potential Turkish invasion.
A newly-released video published by CNN shows US Army vehicles and barracks in the city of Manbij located in the northeastern countryside of Aleppo province.
According to Anadolu Agency, two bases were established for the US troops in Manbij which is under the control of Kurdish militia.
The same agency noted out that the US forces there began to take certain measures to fortify its positions in order to confront any potential assault by the Turkish military.
Recently, the US has made three observation points along the dividing line between the Syrian Democratic Forces and the Turkish-backed Euphrates Shield.
