BREAKING : Syrian Army storms last rebel-held city of Douma

Only a few hours after the Syrian Army began aerial bombardment to reclaim last rebel-held city in East Ghouta, infantry units have reportedly stormed the city from southwest.
According to the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA), units from the SAA’s elite Republican Guards entered the farmlands of Douma, located to the southwest of the city.
The assault comes as negotiations between the Saudi-backed Jaysh al-Islam and the Syrian government – brokered by Russia – collapsed after the insurgents refused to fulfill the terms of the agreement.
