Recent battlefield map update for eastern Ghouta operation.
The Syrian troops initiated new operation from three different axis towards the opposition-held area of Ayn Tarma district in eastern Damascus city.

The army aims to isolate Jobar and Zamalka districts in this operation, as well as splitting the southern pocket of eastern Ghouta into halves.
Since the beginning of the military campaign in the eastern Ghouta, the army troops managed to gain 75% from the former besieged enclave.
According to reports, militants dominated the Harasta city will move into Idlib province in a new agreement with the government, as Syrian Army continues to secure civilians in the area.
