ISIS takes control of most of large district in south Damascus

Following the evacuation of militants from the Al-Kadam district of Damascus.(south of the city center), ISIS has made some important gains in the area.
The advance comes after days of heavy clashes between Syrian forces and ISIS in the Al-Kadam district.
Originally, government troops took control of 70% of Al-Kadam on the day militants left it, but since then ISIS captured the Al-Assali residential area meaning the ultraconservative terrorist group now holds more than half of the district.
The Syrian Army will probably have to send additional reinforcements to the area if it wants to drive back ISIS.
