Jihadists of the Ahrar al-Sham terrorist group have released thirteen Syrian Army prisoners captured from battles in Eastern Ghouta some time ago.
The transfer was by no means without charge and, in turn, Syrian forces handed over five militants that they had captured at some point in the past.
The prisoner exchange took place as Ahrar al-Sham insurgents have begun evacuating from Eastern Ghouta
Ahrar al-Sham has occupied the district of Harasta in Eastern Ghouta for many years, using it as their main base of operations within the vicinity of the Syrian capital.
