As the battles continue in different axis across the embattled region of Afrin, the YPG-led SDF fighters keep defending against the ruthless Turkish offensive.
The pro-YPG outlet of Hawar released a combat footage from Rajo areas west of Afrin, features moment YPG (The People’s Protection Units) fighters firing an anti tank missile towards a Turkish vehicle.
Furthermore, The YPG press office released a statement saying that ” After fierce clashes, Sheikh Khoruz hill and village are cleared off Turkish and al-Qaida terrorists. An armored personnel carrier was captured, another one destroyed”
For three days now, Afrin had witnessed a total absence of Turkish air strikes which were a dominant factor in the beginning of the military operation on Afrin.
