Breaking : Kurdish forces shoot down Turkish military helicopter in Syria's Afrin

A Turkish military helicopter was shot down in Rajo town northwestern Afrin enclave, local media reported citig the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF).
President Recep Tayyip Erdogan confirmed the incident to the Turkish media.
On January 20, the General Staff of the Turkish Armed Forces announced the launch of Operation Olive Branch against the Kurdish forces in Syria’s Afrin district. The operation has been conducted jointly with the Free Syrian Army opposition forces.
Damascus has firmly condemned the operation as an assault on Syria’s sovereignty. Moscow, in turn, has urged all the parties to exercise restraint and called for respect for Syria’s territorial integrity.
