BREAKING: Infighting erupted between two major rebel factions in Aleppo

Nour al-Din al-Zenki rebel faction has just initiated a massive offensive against Hayyat Tahrir Al-Sham headquarters in western Aleppo.

According to Iba’a agency; the media branch of HTS (formally Al-Nusra), the western backed opposition faction of Nour al-Din al-Zenki has started an attack targeting the HTS positions in Al-Sa’diayh near Owarm village in western Aleppo.

Last week, the Nour al-Din al-Zenki militants assassinated a HTS senior called “Abu Ayman Al-Masri” while passing throughout a checkpoint in western Aleppo.

Furthermore, On 18 February 2018, the Nour al-Din al-Zenki Movement merged with Ahrar al-Sham to form the Syrian Liberation Front.
