At least 817 civilians unintentionally killed by Coalition strikes – Pentagon

The Central Command of the US Armed Forces has admitted that more than 800 civilians have been killed by US-led coalition raids since its operations in Syria and Iraq.

“According to information available today, the Central Command believes that 817 civilians have been unintentionally killed by coalition strikes since the operation began, and 603 more are still being investigated,” the command said in a statement.

“In the month of November, CJTF-OIR carried over 695 open reports of possible civilian casualties from previous months and received 9 new reports resulting from Coalition strikes (artillery or air) in support of partner force operations to defeat ISIS in Iraq and Syria.” The statement said.
