Exclusive: Syrian Army obliterates Nusra offensive on Barda’aya near Beit Jinn

A military source confirmed to Muraselon that units from the Syrian Arab Army were able to repel a vicious assault launched by Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists on government positions in Barda’aya Hills in the strategic Hernon mountains of west Damascus.

The source added that the Syrian Army with support of the Syrian Air Force targeted the assaulting forces with overhauling fire power killing and injuring dozens of militants along with their equipment and vehicles.

The Syrian Army had captured the strategic hill series over the past few days – ( MAP ) – gaining full fire control over the remaining surrounding villages- most prominently Beit Jinn as it serves as the operational base of the rebel forces in this region.
