In video: ISIS terrorists retreat from Albukamal to SDF territory

A video was recently released by government sources showing the retreat of ISIS terrorists from their former stronghold of Albukamal to territory held by the American-sponsored Syrian Democratic Forces.

Al-Watan, the loyalist newspaper that released the video clip that was also adopted by several major Western outlets, claimed that the terrorists escaped from the city through the Euphrates after government forces had surrounded the city in a surprise blitz offensive.

Notably, this development comes at a time when a document of unknown authenticity was leaked detailing a ceasefire between ISIS and the SDF east of the Euphrates and in Hasakah province
