Turkish Army plans to attack the largest Kurdish town in Syria in the next two days

The Turkish Minister of Defense Nour Eldin Jankili stated that he expects the planned full-scale military operation on the city of Afrin this upcoming Tuesday or Wednesday.

This came in a statement published by Jankili on Monday from the British capital London during an official visit to the country by the Turkish Prime Minister Ali Yildrim.

The Turkish Minister of Defense had conferred in a previous statement that a real threat emanates from the Afrin region which he claims the Kurdish PKK party operates from.

Jankili added that the Turkish Armed Forces had completed building the third observation post in northern Idlib as Turkish forces continue to deploy observation units in de-escalation zones in northern Syria.
