The FSA-affiliated Jaish al-Izza claimed to have shot down a Russian surveillance drone in the northern countryside of Hama province.

The drone was hovering the rebel-held town of al-Lataminah before being downed by the West-backed insurgents.

Jaish al-Izza is a rebel faction backed and extensively armed by the US-made, anti-tank TOW missiles.
Meanwhile, Russian warplanes conducted several airstrikes, targeting the FSA militants in al-Lataminah.

Yesterday, at least 5 Nusra militants – including one commander of a Jordanian nationality – have been killed as a Russian fighter jet bombed their HQ in Khan Sheikhoun.
