BREAKING: Syrian air-defense hit Israeli jet – Syrian MOD

Statement released by the official media of the Syrian ministry of defense, citing that the Syrian air defense batteries have targeted an Israeli jet – near the Lebanese border – forced it to leave.

At 8:15 this morning, the Israeli enemy penetrated our air space at the Lebanese border in the Baalbek area. Our air defenses fired a missile, hit a hostile jet directly and forced it to flee.” the Mod stated.

Commenting on the Israeli airstrikes over a suspected ground target, the Mod said “ At 11.38 am today, the Israeli enemy fired several missiles from inside the Golan occupied territories, which landed in one of our military posts in Damascus countryside. The losses were limited to physical damage.”
