A series of blasts hit a police station in downtown Damascus as government forces continue to clash with rebels in two eastern neighborhoods.

According to reports, a suicide bomber blew up his VBIED just near the police station in the crowded al-Midan neighborhood.

Two suicide bombers then detonated their explosive vests in the same place. One of them is said to have infiltrated into the post.
