VIDEO | SAA captures huge IS arsenal in retaken Uqayribat

A Syrian Arab Army officer revealed the self-proclaimed Islamic State’s (IS, formerly ISIS, ISIL) weapon stores and armoured vehicles in the recently freed town of Uqayribat, Sunday.

The officer explained how the area was once a stronghold, with a headquartres for IS’ leaders and caves containing warheads.

“This area was a stronghold for ISIS, fierce battles took place in this area,” he explained.
