BREAKING: Iraqi military launches surprise operation towards Syrian-Jordanian borders
On Saturday morning, the Iraqi security forces backed by the paramilitary faction of Hashd al-Shaabi, have initiated new operation in order to reach the Syrian borders liberating Akkashat town from the self-proclaimed Islamic state.
Akkashat – which is under ISIS control – located near the Border triangle of (Syria – Iraq – Jordan), northwestern Al-Rutbah in western Iraq.
Worthy to say that Akkashat was snatched by the ultraconservative group of ISIS in mid of 2014
