Syrian Army controls All Syrian – Jordanian border In East Swaida

Syrian Army, expels US-backed fighters, secures southern borders The Syrian Army troops, backed by allied forces, have established full control of all the Syrian-Jordan borders following fierce battles with the US-backed rebels.

The battles erupted between the SAA and the FSA-affiliated Ahmad al-Abdo Brigade in the stretching desert located in the eastern countryside of the Northern Province of Swaida, where the government forces eventually recaptured the strategic Wadi Abu Sharshoh; from where they advanced toward the borders.

The recent gains have granted the government forces full control over 4000 km2 of extending eastern countryside of Swaida since the military campaign began last March
