41 Yemenis massacred by Saudi-led airstrikes

The Saudi-led coalition has conducted several overnight airstrikes on a hotel located north of the Yemeni capital, killing at least 41 people.

According to AP, the victims were killed as the hotel collapsed following intense aerial bombardment. At least 31 of the fallen people are civilians with scores other still under rubble.

The air campaign against the Houthi rebels has intensified in recent months with the total number of airstrikes in 2017 reaching 5,676, compared to 3,936 for all 2016, according to a report by the Protection Cluster in Yemen led by the UNHCR.
