Photos were released on the social media showing two Panthera F9 armored personnel carriers (APCs), which were destroyed by the Syrian Army Tiger Forces during the battle of Kafr Nabudah in north-western Hama countryside.
Also, a video was released showing Syrian soldiers targeting one of the vehicles with an anti-tank guided missile (ATGM) after successfully disabling it from a day before.
Both APCs belong to the Turkish backed National Liberation Front forces who used them in the battle against the Syrian army in Kafr Nabudah.
This is not the first time this type of APCs is seen with Turkey’s proxies in Syria. A year earlier, Faylaq al-Sham used two Panthera F9 in an attack on SAA positions in northern Hama. The attack failed and the SAA captured both vehicles back then. One of them was displayed in Russia recently.
These vehicles prove that Turkey backed the militants’ recent attack in northern Hama, which allowed Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham (HTS) to impose control of Kafr Nabudah.
Recently, a Free Syrian Army leader confirmed in an interview that the opposition did receive guided missiles (ATGMs) and Grad missiles from Turkey just 2 days prior to Kafr Nabudah attack.
