The Syrian Arab Army managed to foil another massive attack by the jihadist rebels in the north-western countryside of Hama province.
According to sources, militants led by Hayat Tahrir al-Sham and National Liberation Front launched a big attack this afternoon which aimed to capture Kafr Nabudah and its surroundings.
The attack started by a suicide car bomb operation by HTS that was driven by a foreign militant from Maldives called Abu Sarah.
A Syrian army source told Muraselon news that the car bomb was destroyed by the army units before it reach its target.
The source added that militants managed to enter the town where heavy clashes erupted inside many districts of the town before the Syrian forces managed to fully secure the town once again after killing tens of militants some with foreign nationalities.
Meanwhile, Syrian army is heavy targeting with artillery and missile strikes rebel-held positions in Hobait and Abdin towns.
This comes following the collapse of talks between Russia and Turkey after Russia rejection of Turkey’s demands of withdrawing the Syrian army troops from recently captured areas in northern Hama province.
