Palestinians military factions in Gaza strip have launched more than 90 rockets toward south and central Israel on Saturday, a day after four Palestinians in Gaza were killed and two Israeli soldiers were injured.
Israeli military source said that dozens of rockets were intercepted, adding that Israeli warplanes have struck targeting in Gaza in response to the attack.
The source added that Israeli air force attacked two rocket launchers in the northern Gaza Strip and a tank struck a Hamas post east of Khan Yunis after rockets were launched at multiple Israeli towns, including Ashkelon, Ashdod as well as central Israeli towns near Modi'in and Rehovot, while residents reported hearing blasts.
One rocket landed in the settlement of Nirim in Israel and another landed on Highway 4 near Ashkelon, as the city announced it was opening its bomb shelters.
