Map update: Syrian Army maintains control over key neighborhood in southern Damascus

The government troops keep battling the terror group of the Islamic state in several front-lines across the southern suburbs of the capital of Damascus.
On Sunday afternoon – with the backing of the Russian and Syrian air power – the task force of the Syrian military managed to establish full control over Al-Zain neighborhood south of Al-Hajar Al-aswad.
Field source told Muraselon that, “Dozens of Daesh terrorists were killed and injured and several technical vehicles were destroyed as a result of the recent operation”
Two days ago, The Syrian forces were able to control of mosque “Imam Ali” and several Buildings in Al-Tadamon neighborhood after clashes with militants , the source added .
