+18: Syrian units thwart rebels offensive on Damascus eastern gates

On Tuesday morning, The defensive units of the Syrian Army with the support of police elements were capable to foil jihadist rebels offensive on the Criminal Security building in Harasta district eastern Damascus.

The pictures and the video released on social media, features a corpse of a rebel was eliminated during the jihadists swift-assault.
Clashes ongoing at the meantime at Harasta suburb as the Syrian Air-forces carrying out several air-strikes along the rebels’ supply lines and their headquarters.
Yesterday, the Syrian command sent massive reinforcements of the 4th Armored division and its special forces known as al-Ghaith Forces  to eastern Damascus district to help the Syrian army forces in the area in fight against HTS and Ahrar Al-Sham militants on the army vehicle base axis.
