The Islamic State burnt out all their belongings in western Qalamoun as government busses arrived to transport the militants to eastern Syria.
Meanwhile, ambulances of the Syrian Red Crescent evacuated 25 injured militants from the Qalamoun barrens to the ISIS-held territories in Deir Ezzor.
Earlier, ISIS jihadists had surrendered to the Syrian Army and Hezbollah after days of fierce battles whereby the terror group was entirely besieged.
With the Islamic State militants’ evacuation to eastern Syria, the Syria-Lebanon borders – once a hotbed for jihadi groups – have been completely secured.
