VIDEO: Syrian Army thwarts ISIS suicide bombing attempt near al-Sukhnah, East Homs

The Syrian defensive troops who are holding the main highway of Al-Sukhnah – Deir Ezzor, have successfully ambushed a booby-trapped vehicle attack, Sunday.

According to the state agency (SANA), the Syrian soldiers were capable to destroy an ISIS VBIED was heading towards an Army checkpoint stationed on the highway of Homs – Deir Ezzor.

Following the suicide attack, ISIS terrorists launched their assault in a bid to storm the government outpost, the army units managed to repel the attack, inflicting heavy losses.

What’s more, The government forces managed to kill several militants while taking a toll of 3 martyrs.
