Israeli raid kills First IRGC commander in Syria’s Aleppo since April’ 1 Israeli strike on Iranian embassy in Damascus
Iranian media said that the commander of the Iranian Revolutionary Guards Saeed Abyar was killed on Sunday as a result of an Israeli raid targeting Aleppo, Syria.
Iranian media said Abyar was killed in an Israeli raid on the eastern countryside of Aleppo on Sunday night in Aleppo.

Abyar is the first commander of the Iranian Revolutionary Guards killed by Israeli raids after Israeli targeting the Iranian consulate in Damascus, which killed senior officers of the Iranian Revolutionary Guards.
The Syrian Ministry of Defense announced yesterday that several sites in Aleppo were subjected to Israeli raids that led to a number of martyrs and material damage.

Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) launched some 300 missiles and drones at Israel over the night of April 13 and 14.
The unprecedented attack, which was codenamed “Operation Honest Promise,” was a response to the April 1 Israeli strike on the Iranian embassy in the Syrian capital, Damascus. The strike claimed the lives of at least 13 people, including senior commanders from the IRGC.
