Syria’s al-Assad vows force to eliminate terrorism

Syrian President Bashar al-Assad on Sunday vowed to use force to eliminate “terrorism,” state news agency SANA reported, during a phone call with an official from the Moscow-backed breakaway Georgian republic of Abkhazia.
Assad said “terrorism only understands the language of force, and that is the language which we will break it and eliminate it with, whoever its supporters and sponsors are,” SANA reported .
Meanwhile, Syrian troops are now regrouping and reinforcements are also being sent to Aleppo to help in the counteroffensive against the foreign-sponsored Takfiri terrorists after they swept into the city on Friday, according to army sources.
The terrorists led by Hayat Tahrir al-Sham launched a large-scale attack in Aleppo and Idlib provinces in the northwest of Syria on Wednesday, seizing several areas.
