This rare footage, recorded by Kei Sugimoto, provides angles of the collapse that were not filmed from the south or east of the towers.

Kei Sugimoto, who was 24 years old at the time, captured this footage from the roof of 64 St Marks Place in New York City using a Sony VX2000 with a teleconverter. The video was uploaded to his YouTube channel for historical archival purposes. This footage has brought forth new angles of the collapse, particularly highlighting the explosions during the falling of the towers.

The video, which runs for over 57 minutes, offers a unique perspective on the horrifying moment when the second hijacked plane, United Airlines flight 175, flew into the South Tower, less than 20 minutes after American Airlines flight 11 hit the North Tower. This new footage has surfaced 23 years after the attack, providing a fresh look at the devastating event that many have yet to witness.
