Russia practiced the electronic launch of Iskander ballistic missiles as part of training conducted in its Jewish Autonomous Region, which borders China, the Interfax news agency reported on Monday
After receiving the coordinates of the targets, Iskander missile launchers destroyed command posts and air defense facilities of the conditional enemy, performing training (electronic) missile launches at a distance of several hundred kilometers,” Interfax cited the military district’s press service as saying.
Russia conducted similar electronic launch training last month as part of drills designed to practice deploying tactical nuclear weapons.
