SDF statement confirms agreement to deploy SAA soldiers in eastern Syria

The so-called “Autonomous Administration for North Eastern Syria” (AANES) published a statement earlier today to address the most recent developments with regards to the Turkish aggression and reports of Syrian Army redeployment in northeast of the country
The statement talked about the sacrifices the SDF incurred freeing one-third of Syria from ISIS. The predominantly-Kurdish alliance lost 11,000 fighters while 24,000 others were wounded during the course of the war.
In light of the Turkish invasion of Syria and the surmounting war crimes, AANES declared that an agreement had been reached with the Syrian government to protect the border and defend Syria’s sovereignty. This agreement will open the door to liberating the remainder of the Syrian lands and cities occupied by Turkey, such as Afrin, according to the autonomous administration.
