The Syrian Army has advanced yet again against jihadist militant in the northern countryside of Syria’s Hama province, capturing a town as well as it’s strategically important nearby hilltop.
According to field reporters at the front-line in Hama province, the Syrian Army, led by the elite Tiger Forces Division, launched an attack early this morning via the Kurnaz-Kafr Naboudah axis towards the town of Tal Sakher and the hilltop of Tal Sakher and silos, the height of which dominates the terrain around it for many kilometers.
After hours of clashes backed by intense air and artillery bombardment, the Syrian Army bowled through jihadist defenses seizing both Tal Sakher town and Tal Sakher hill.
Positions are currently being established in both locations, particularly atop of Tal Sakher hill, to repel any counter-attack that may come from militant inghamasii (shock troop) teams operating in northern Hama.
Details on militant losses have not been clarified to Muraselon News at this time, however it is worth noting that Tal Sakher hill, due to its strategic importance, was heavily fortified by jihadists and it can be assumed a major clash to place in order for the Syrian Army to wrestle control of it.
