Breaking: Iran's Supreme Leader appoints a new commander of Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC)

Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei has appointed a new commander of the Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) Hossein Salami who replaced Mohammad Ali Jafari, who was reportedly demoted.
The U.S. has designated Iran’s Revolutionary Guard Corps as a terrorist group back on April 8.
