Tens of civilians killed or wounded by US-led airstrikes in eastern Syria
At least 70 civilians were killed or injured by US-led coalition strikes on the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor, state agency SANA reported on Tuesday.
SANA quoted local sources as saying that “US-led coalition warplanes committed a massacre that led to the deaths of 70 civilians, the airstrikes targeted a camp for displaced people in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor on Monday evening.
A total of 16 civilians were killed on Saturday by another US-led coalition airstrike on the outskirts of al-Baghuz town in the south-eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor.
The International Coalition has renewed its airstrikes on Syrian territory under the pretext of fighting ISIS terrorists, while most of its airstrikes since its formation in August 2014, have targeted the civilians causing dozens of massacres.
