Syrian soldiers wounded due to terrorist attack with toxic gases

Two Syrian soldiers suffered toxic gas inhalation injuries after terrorists targeted Sham al-Hawa village in the south-eastern countryside of Idlib with shells carrying toxic gases.

Earlier, private sources in Idlib on February 2 told sputnik news agency that militants from “Jabhat al-Nusra” terrorist group last night transfered a shipment of chlorine gas cylinders from Jisr al-Shughur to Khan Sheikhan in the southern countryside of Idlib in cooperation with elements from the “White Helmets” and European experts.

The sources pointed out that the shipment included five chlorine cylinders transported by two ambulances belonging to the “White Helmets”, under the supervision of three foreign experts of the British and Belgian nationality.

Russian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Maria Zakharova announced on February 7 that the terrorists in Syrian Idlib continue to stockpile toxic chemicals and aim to control the de-escalation zone.
