Syrian Army eliminates ISIS group in Palmyra countryside
Syria’s official SANA news agency reported on Saturday that the Syrian Arab Army eliminated an Islamic State terrorist group south-east of Sokhna town, in Palmyra countryside in the center of the country.
The correspondent of “SANA” said that the army units conducted intensive operations against positions and axes from which terrorists from the “Turkistan Islamic Party” sneaked from Sirmaniyah village in the north-western countryside of Hama, in response to their breaches of the de-escalation zone agreement.
SANA correspondent added that an army unit foiled terrorists’ attempt to sneak from al-Hawiz town and bab al-taqa village towards military posts in Al-Ghab Plain in the northern countryside of Hama, killing several and injuring many more.
In the eastern Homs countryside, an army unit operated against an ISIS group in Wadi al-Suhail area, south-east of Sokhna, in Palmyra countryside.
